SQL Server 2005/2008

We love Microsoft SQL Server, period. Every new release of and update to Microsoft SQL Server makes us happy. Our introduction to Microsoft SQL server dates back to early 1990s and Microsoft SQL Server 4.2 for Windows NT. Since then, our engineers have been building applications with Microsoft SQL Server.

Currently, we use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 as a database back-end for our applications and we are gradually moving to SQL Server 2008. All of our new products will use Microsoft SQL Server 2008.

The only drawback of Microsoft SQL Server had been its cost. However, with the introduction of the Express Editions, Microsoft SQL Server Express (especially editions with advanced services) has become a natural choice for many small and medium size applications.
